About Me
Dr. Rabia Subhani, The Heartful Psychologist™
I have always wanted to be a healer of minds and hearts. Through many trials, tribulations, and lots and lots of schooling later, I found my calling. As a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in Autism assessment, I began my career providing neuropsychological and psychological testing. However, several personal events in my life led to a shift in my professional goals. As I became more immersed in mindfulness at a personal level, I saw the benefits of this practice for ND (neurodivergent) children, as well as their caregivers, many of whom were also neurodivergent (such as me)! I started training in different mindfulness programs but couldn’t find one which incorporated everything I liked so I decided to create my own and the Mindful Village® program was born. This program is being updated (will be available March 25, 2025) to reflect a more neuro-affirming lens, as well as spanning from childhood to young adults. I have also launched a neuro-affirming, low-demand parenting group based on the principles of the Mindful Village® program, namely; mindfulness, compassion, positive psychology, and neuroscience. Details are on the Mindfulness page.
In addition to this program, I also offer spiritually-based, heart-led coaching (quantumqun.com) and consultations for businesses interested in adding mindfulness or neurodiversity-affirming related services. My current psychological services include consultations and telehealth only autism/ADHD assessments for adults (with a special focus on women and gender diverse/trans folx) and toddlers (under 36 months), as well as U Visa immigration evaluations. The services I offer are listed below and in more detail under the Services tab. Please click on the link to learn more about me and my credentials.

National Alliance of
Testing Psychologists
I'm so happy to announce the creation of a national organization for psychologists who primarily do testing. The National Alliance of Testing Psychologists was formed for two main reasons: one was to have a community of professionals who could collaborate and refer clients to each other. The second reason was to have a public searchable database for potential clients to easily find a psychologist for their specific testing requirements (including PSYPACT status). NAOTP will also be actively marketed so its members get referrals. You can check it out by clicking on the logo or at www.naotp.org.

Mindfulness Trainings
What is mindfulness? You may hear it a lot these days as being mindful has almost become a fad! For me, mindfulness is simply paying attention to the present moment with loving awareness. As you practice mindfulness in your daily activities, it will become routine. Research shows that people who make this a daily habit increase their levels of happiness and resilience, while decreasing stress and anxiety. I offer several different options for mindfulness trainings, including private groups, which are listed on the Services tab under Mindfulness.
